Kindness

This year in  my classroom I will have the theme of kindness. The past years I have done a lot with this topic. Building relationships with my students and families will be on the top of my agenda each day. Stay tuned for pictures, fun projects and activities, and our smiling faces!

Handmade For Hope

Arts and crafts are a big part of my daughter's life. We have decided to make a small business out of what we love to do together to relax and bond. Handmade For Hope is our Etsy shop which features handmade items! One third of our profits go to a charity which supports children's mental health in America!

Calming Tools

Yoga can increase awareness of one's body and sensations, while creating a calming affect. Deep breathing and relaxation can help anyone calm down in stressing times. 

Stress Relievers

Music can help you relax the mind and take you to another place. While listening to music, different essential oils can also help your body calm down, especially if you are able to take five minutes to meditate, journal or draw.

Exercise

April 29, 2019

Walking, yoga and meditation are proven to improve the mind and body on a daily basis. Not only are these things helping your body become more healthy, but also your mind. Including the whole family in exercising together will also draw everyone closer!
